CASS COUNTY, N.D. — The Harmony Township Board of Supervisors will meet twice this week, with a regular meeting on Tuesday and a special meeting on Thursday to consider a proposed data center moratorium. Both meetings will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Mapleton Community Center, located at 651 Second St. An agenda for the Tuesday, Oct. 20, regular meeting was not available when requested by The Forum. Public notices published in the Cass County Reporter detail what is expected to take place at the Thursday, Oct. 22, special meeting. The meeting will be held to consider a proposed two-year temporary zoning moratorium "on the establishment, construction, expansion, or approval of solar energy facilities, wind energy facilities, data centers, battery energy storage systems, electric transmission lines, and gas-fired electrical generation facilities." The moratorium would apply to all property located within Harmony Township's zoning jurisdiction. Harmony Town
